Chennai suburbs to enjoy 3G BSNL quality service

Chief General Manager of Chennai Telephones, S M Kalavathi says that the expansion of 3G coverage till Chengalpet, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Tirutani will provide great service in the peripheral areas. The General Manager while speaking said, We have had a lot of complaints from people over the quality of the 3G network in far flung areas. We are planning to expand its 3G footprint in the city by adding 600 new Base Trans Receiver Stations (BTS), including 250 new 3G BTS by November. This will push them towards their goal of adding one lakh new customers by the end of the financial year. With the commissioning of these new towers our reach would be enhanced and customers can enjoy quality service.
