TASMAC shop ransacked by Pachaiyappas College students

Students of Pachaiyappas College protested to close the TASMAC shop located in Aminjikarai. They ransacked the TASMAC a state government owned liquor shop. Because of this police resorted to lath charge to disperse a group of students.
Students of Pachaiyappas College suddenly barged into the liquor shop and broke all the bottles demanding prohibition in the state. When the police tried to stop the students, a big clash took between the police and students. TASMAC shops in the area pulled down the shutters. Some of miscreants utilizing this opportunity stole some liquor bottles from the shop.
