Online applications for military recruitment - 1st time in India!

An army recruitment officer informed that for the first time in the country, application for military personnel recruitment to be made online being introduced in Tamil Nadu.
An army recruitment camp is scheduled to be conducted from 4th September till 13th September at the Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium in Pudhuchery.
Interested candidates from the districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Thiruvannamalai, and Vellore & Union Territories can participate in this army recruitment camp.
750 persons are to be recruited in the camp.
Candidates should have minimum passed in the 8th Standard.
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 23000/- along with other allowances.
They will also be given free accommodation, ration groceries & other items, and uniform.
They will be qualified to draw pension after completion of 15 years of service.
For the first time in the country, the facility to apply online for participation in this army recruitment camp is being introduced.

Last date for online application is 19th August.
Online application forms are in the languages Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, among others.
Immediately on application, the candidate will receive a permission ticket for participation.
Candidates can apply online from their own cell-phone with internet facility or internet centres, e-service centres, General service centres of the Central Government, and Regional Recruitment Centers.
A special App, ‘Army Calling’ has been devised to inform the details of qualifications & eligibility.
This App can be downloaded free from Google Store.
The App contains details in all South Indian Languages.
