Free medical camps on occasion of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s birthday

On the occasion of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s birthday six hundred and seventy private hospitals in the State will conduct health camps for eight days .Today 61 hospitals including multi-specialty facilities will conduct health camps. After the free health checks, persons requiring further treatment would be provided the same at the hospital itself free of charge under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme.
The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine will also hold special camps across the State for three days from Thursday. Several camps will be held for pregnant women and children below the age of five.
