Corporation to create an app for Tamil speaking people

Very soon Tamil speaking people living in Chennai can make use of Tamil app created by the Chennai Corporation. Residents who do not know English will be able to send a mini-report on civic problems to the Corporation. A large number of residents are likely to use smartphones to file complaints after the launch of the app.
Information on roads, streetlights, primary health centres, schools, storm water drains, footpaths, playgrounds, bridges and parks from thousands of residents can offer a larger picture that can be used for better decision making by the Corporation.
