500 MW power generation affected in Vallur Power plant

Vallur power plant located next to Thiruvallur has 3 units capable of producing 500 MW power. Two of these are made functional.
There was a repair in the second unit of the power plant in the pipeline that fetches water to the boiler. This has affected the 500 MW power generation. Officials promise fast clearance of the issue and the generation will be resumed.
