Slum clearance Board to allot flats for 868 clients on lucky-draw!

The slum Clearance Board has decided to offer flats on the new 8-stroeyed apartments for 868 occupants building at Perumbakkam on a lottery draw.
So far, 5600 houses have been built by the slum clearance board. The construction is a 8-stroeyed apartment building.
Presently, the allotment of flats for 868 lucky winners is in progress.
Traditionally, the slum clearance board took the responsibility of allotting the floors & flat numbers. However, this has been done by a lucky-draw system this time. The clients will pick their number from the draw.
An official informed that this decision was taken so that occupants will not put up requests for change of flats. The elder people will be given ground floor on priority.
