Finance Minister Arun Jaiteley’s explanation of Gandhiji’s picture on Currency notes!

The central Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitely, informed today that the reserve Bank of India has emphasised that only Mahatma Gandhi’s picture is to be used in the currency notes and no other leader will be used.
As per the design crystallised for the currency notes, only Mahatma Gandhi’s photo is the most ideal fit and also, the photo of the Father of the Nation will be a proper reflection on the country.
The finance minister also informed that strong measures have been taken to ensure only genuine currency notes will be dispensed from the ATMs, subsequent to the recent complaints that that fake currencies were dispensed in some ATMs.
