Additional special trains for sabarimalai festival season

The following additional special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic during Sabarimalai festival season.
1. Superfast special trains between Kochuveli – Chennai Central
Train No.06360 Kochuveli – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Kochuveli at 21.15 hrs. on 15th, 22nd, 29th December 2014, 05th, 12th& 19th January 2015 (Mondays) and reach Chennai Central at 13.00 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06359 Chennai Central – Kochuveli superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. on 16th, 30th December 2014, 06th, 13th & 20thJanuary 2015 (Tuesdays) and reach Kochuveli at 14.40 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 Sleeper Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Kaptadi and Arakkonam.
2. Superfast special trains from Kochuveli to Chennai Central
Train No.06356 Kochuveli – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Kochuveli at 20.00 hrs. on 01.01.2015, 08.01.2015 & 15.01.2015 (Thursdays) and reach Chennai Central at 13.05 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 Sleeper Class, 2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Kaptadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
3. Superfast special trains from Kochuveli to Chennai Central
Train No.06354 Kochuveli – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Kochuveli at 20.20 hrs. on 04.01.2015, 06.01.2015, 11.01.2015, 13.01.2015 & 18.01.2015 and reach Chennai Central at 12.55 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 Sleeper Class, 2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Kaptadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
4. Superfast special trains from Chennai Central to Kochuveli
Train No.06355 Chennai Central – Kochuveli superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 15.15 hrs. on 02.01.2015, 05.01.2015, 09.01.2015, 12.01.2015, 16.01.2015 & 19.01.2015 and reach Kochuveli at 06.30 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 Sleeper Class, 2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam.
5. Superfast special trains from Chennai Central to Kochuveli
Train No.06357 Chennai Centntral – Kochuveli superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.15 hrs. on 07.01.2015 & 14.01.2015 (Wednesdays) and reach Kochuveli at 10.35 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 14 Sleeper Class, 2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam.
6. Superfast special trains between Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Central
Train No.06348 Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 20.20 hrs. on 07.01.2015 & 14.01.2015 (Wednesdays) and reach Chennai Central at 12.55 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06347 Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.15 hrs. on 08.01.2015 & 15.01.2015 (Thursdays) and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11.00 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Kaptadi and Arakkonam. Train No.06348 Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Central superfast special will stop at Perambur also.
7. Special trains between Nagercoil – Mangalore Jn.
Train No.06306 Nagercoil – Mangalore Jn. special train will leave Nagercoil at 21.00 hrs. on 04.01.2015 & 11.01.2015 (Sundays) and reach Mangalore Jn. at 11.15 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06305 Mangalore Jn. – Nagercoil special train will leave Mangalore Jn. at 13.30 hrs. on 05.01.2015 & 12.01.2015 (Mondays) and reach Nagercoil at 04.15 hrs. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Eraniel, Kulitturai, Neyyatinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur Jn., Tirur, Kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod.
Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on 06.12.2014.
