4-day congress on lifestyle diseases from September 10

The Government Stanley Medical College is hosting a four-day congress on lifestyle diseases for undergraduate students. The event — Empower’14 — is expected to attract around 500 delegates from across the country.
The International Medical Students’ Research Congress, to be held from September 10, will include workshops in radiology, trauma evaluation and management, surgical skills and stem cell therapy. Students will present cases, papers and display posters. They will also participate in panel discussions and medical quiz. Some papers will be selected for oral presentation.
