Three new fish landing facility at Tamil Nadu

The state government has announced setting up of three new fish landing facility at Kovalam in Kancheepuram district, and Iraiummanthurai and Thuthoor in Kanyakumari district at a total cost of Rs 17.15 crore. These fish landing facilities would help fishermen handle about 1,500 metric tons of fish hygienically. About 8,300 fishermen would benefit from this, said the chief minister.
