Likelihood of Heavy Rain in CBE and Nilgiris Districts Today- Regional Meteorological Centre Message!

Owing to the Southwest monsoon, Coimbatore and Nilgiris districts might be receiving heavy rainfall on Monday, said the officials from the Regional Meteorological Center.
On Monday, Coimbatore and Nilgiris districts will be receiving heavy rainfall. Many parts of Tamil Nadu might acknowledge either moderate rainfall or thunder showers. Cloudy sky appears, in and around the Chennai city. There is a possibility of rainfall or thunder showers in few regions.
Chennaites experienced widespread rainfall on Sunday. Several areas in Chennai including Guindy, Ekkatuthangal, Pallavaram, Chromepet, and Velachery confront blusters of wind and heavy rainfall. As a result, rain water floods in many low-lying areas. Transportation gets its bad shape in these regions. Fortunately, since it is the weekend, public’s routine life did not get affected to a large extent.
