5 new polytechnic colleges in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa yesterday said five new polytechnic colleges would be set up in the State in the current academic year, at a cost of Rs 40.4 crore.
Making a statement under Rule 110 of the Assembly, she said the colleges would come up at Manikandam in Trichy district, Chinna Salem in Villupuram district, Kadayanallur in Tirunelveli district, Kattumannarkoil in Cuddalore district and Udumalaipet in Tirupur district.
