Now public can pay the EB bills at the e-service centres

Tamil Nadu Electricity department has announced that the public can pay the EB bills at the e-service centres.

TANGEDCO has introduced some alternative methods for paying the EB bills.Payment can be made by credit cards or debit cards.Internet banking can also be used.
ATM payment centres which operate on a 24 x 7 basis can also be used for making payments.In addition, all bank branches, mobile banking, and sms banking facilties can also be used for paying EB bills.
The recently opened e-service centres at Mylapore Taluk office, Egmore Taluk office, Mambalam Taluk Office, Saidapet MWSSB office, Ashok Nagar MWSSB office, Adyar Corporation ward office, Royapuram Corporation office, Shenoy Nagar Corporation office, Pudupet Urban Cooperative Society, Starting Agriculture Centres at Sholinganallur, , Navalur, Kovur, and Kelambakkam also have the facility to pay EB Bills apart from several other services.
These e-service centres will accept payment by cheques, cash or demand drafts. They will function on all days from Monday to Saturday from 9.30 Am till 6.30 PM.
All consumers can make the EB bill payments in the nearest access with this facility.
