General Counselling for Engineering Courses to commence on 7th July: Anna University Announcement!

Anna University has announced that the general counselling for the engineering courses will commence on 7th July.
General counselling, which was originally scheduled to start on 27th June, had to be postponed as per the Supreme Court Order.
The new Engineering colleges offering new specialities are awaiting approval from AICTE. Their appeal was heard by the Supreme Court after which it issued an order to postpone the general counselling dates. Accordingly, Anna University had to cancel the original schedule of commencing general counselling on 27th June and postponed the same without any specific dates.

Anna University has informed that the details of the general counselling for the engineering courses scheduled to commence on the revised date of 7th July has been informed to the candidates through SMS.
