National Disaster Response Force to continue operations

The state government has directed the National Disaster Response Force to continue operations until the entire area was thoroughly combed. Four workers were pulled out alive from under the rubble of the collapsed high-rise building in Moulivakkam on Tuesday.
Additional chief secretary (revenue administration, disaster management and mitigation) T S Sridhar said, The exercise will continue tonight and the day after, until the last individual is rescued. The government machinery is unsure of the number of people trapped, despite initial estimates putting the figure at 72.
