Crowd sourcing to help develop new app

City-based NGO Prajnya is helping develop SafetyPin, a map-based app to crowd source safety-related information from Chennai`s streets. The organisation is looking for 20 volunteers to walk the streets of Chennai in teams of two in July and August with smartphones and point out what is unsafe about the lanes, roads and bus stops.
