St Joseph’s 4th international FIDE rating chess tournament

The St Joseph’s 4th international FIDE rating chess tournament will be held at St Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai, from June 19-23, with a total prize pool of Rs 1,80,000.
“This tournament recognised by the All India Chess Federation is being sponsored by St Joseph’s group of institutions. The top 40 will get cash awards and the winner will get Rs 40,000 with a trophy.
There will be consolation prizes for children in various categories. The nine-round tournament will be played in a Swiss League format.
