5 over-bridges finally to be to be opened on Thursday

Though the construction of the mentioned bridges was completed many months ago it was not opened to general public. Now chief minister J Jayalalithaa on June 12 through videoconferencing will throw open the mentioned bridges to the public.
Two of the five foot over bridges built at an estimated Rs 28 crore under Phase III of the Tamil Nadu Urban Development Project are on Grand Southern Trunk Road -near MEPZ and near Government General Hospital in Chromepet. Two others are on Tharamani Link Road -in Perungudi and in Velacherry .
The fifth is on Jawaharlal Nehru Road near SBOA School in Anna Nagar, while the rail over-bridge is in Milk Colony in Madhavaram.
