Campaign to Progress Enrolment Drive - Corporation Teachers Involved

A campaign to enhance the enrolment in about 284 civic body schools has been pioneered by the Chennai Corporation school teachers.
This campaign has been embarked on Saturday in such a way that it should magnetize the neighborhood students to join the Chennai Corporation Schools.
On Saturday, as a section of the campaign many a lot of teachers assembled near marina beach. The idea of this crusade is to wrap up more than 2,000 slum students and to build up awareness amid parents on the exclusive amenities at the schools.
Last year, the count of the students has dipped down by 20% in many corporation schools. This is mainly because, many parents do not acquainted with amenitities at Chennai Corporation schools.
Now-a-days, the results have been increased a lot, but reversely the students count has been keep on decreasing, said a spokesperson of the Corporation School teachers.
During the campaign, a group of teachers will stopover at neighbor vicinity to widespread the English medium course in about 122 primary schools. Additionally, 28 KG schools are also getting opened for this academic year.
Parents are asked to get benefit from this campaign and should make finest utilization of the amenities and benefit of the education for their children at free of cost, said an official of Chennai Corporation.
