Heavy rains in Chennai again!

It has started raining heavily in Chennai. It has been raining heavily in Foreshore Estate, Santhome, and Marina.
The director of Chennai Meteorological Centre, Mr. Ramanan informed that there might be rains in Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry for the next 48 hours.
A new depression zone has formed in the mid-eat and the south-east parts of Arabian Sea leading to prospects of good rains. Chennai weather would be cloudy and it might rain in a few places in the city.
7 cm rainfall has been recorded at Kanchipuram & Kattukkuppam.
Kolapakkam, Kenambakkam, and Chembarambakkam have recorded 6 cm rainfall.
Chennai Airport area has recorded 5 cm of rainfall.
