Hi-Tech Approach to Monitor the Status of Projects Chennai Corporation!

In recent time, the Chennai Corporation has showed its intellect in supervising more than 250 civic projects alongside in a given time frame.
Currently, officials are in the course of locating up a technical system which will consent them to concurrently examine the advancement of the projects, to witness if projects are operating on time, and stick contractors accountable for deferrals.
The hi-tech software in the system will assimilate data from projects and show status of all the projects via a specific interface on a single button click, for the ease of the officials.
The new-tangled tool will pool info on all infrastructures, concrete roads, conduits, storm water taps and civic toilets, along with the details of the respective contractors who are in charge for the projects.
The system should make sure that assessment of the projects by officials is organized and rest on vital act indicators, says Corporation official.
Sources said the project, the brain child of joint commissioner (works) Vijay Pingale, will consolidate and integrate details of all the civic body`s assets in digital format.
The Joint Commissioner, Vijay Pingale will merge and combine datas of all the civic projects in the digital design, said the sources.
We are having plans to begin an incorporated file-trailing approach for the civic to aid them retrieve civic services, he added.
