99.70% pass in CBSE 10th exams in Chennai Region

Chennai region consists of Andaman & Nicobar, Daman, Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu.There are 1806 CBSE schools in Chennai region. There 460 CBSe schools in Tamil Nadu.1,23,279 students wrote 10th CBSE exams.1,22,912 have passed for a success percentage of 99.7%.

As grade system is being followed in CBSE, pass or fail cannot be considered. The result confirms whether the student is goo enough to go to the next class. On this point of view, 257 students have not qualified. They will write‘re-exams’ on 16th July.

26,589 students wrote CBSE 1-0th exams in Tamil Nadu. 28,572 have passed. This contributes 99.94% success (boys – 99.20% & girls 99.98%)

964 students wrote the exam in Puducherry. All have passed and it is 100% success.

As usual, % pass is more in case of girl students as compared to the boys.
A new procedure was adopted for correcting answer sheets in this year. The answer-sheets were scanned and sent to the correcting teachers on-line. This procedure greatly reduces the scope for any mistakes in correction.
CBSE +2 results are expected before 28th May.

Please do not stop applying for medical or engineering or medical courses just because of the delay in the announcements of results. It has already been announced that the mark sheets can be submitted later.
