Private colleges to send the final list of seats for Anna University Counseling before April 30

Tamil Nadu has over 570 engineering colleges inclusive of government colleges, government aided colleges and private colleges. Private minority colleges are ought to allot 50 per cent seats and the rest others 65 per cent for counseling that will be organized in single window system. Ever year, more than 1.5 lakh B.E and B.Tech seats get filled through Anna University counseling.
With the plus two examination results scheduled for announcement on May 9, Anna University has come up with an update that applications for engineering studies will be availed at the university office during first week of May. Nearly 2.5 lakh application forms are printed and kept ready at the university.
At this juncture, works are ongoing to segregate the number of engineering seats from private self-financed engineering colleges – based on various departments – that are allotted for counseling.
