The remnants of the severe cyclonic storm Ditwah have reorganized into a system over the southwest Bay of Bengal and the adjoining north Tamil Nadu–Puducherry coast.
According to the Meteorological Department, Ditwah, which was previously located over the Bay of Bengal, weakened into a deep depression on Sunday evening without making landfall. The Meteorological Department stated that the system will remain centered within 30 km from the coastline in the southwest Bay of Bengal this morning.
