Indias Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) has informed that the coronavirus vaccine administered will not cause blood-clot issues.
A few days ago, some of the European Countries had announced that they had temporarily stopped the vaccination AstraZeneca (for coronavirus infection prevention). In this situation, the Drugs Controller General of India has categorically informed that administration of the coronavirus vaccines CoviShield and Covaccine WILL NOT CAUSE ANY ISSUES SUCH AS BLOOD-CLOT. It also confirmed that there is no scientific proof of any such outcomes.
Earlier, complaints were raised in some of the European countries that when administered with AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccination there were issues of blood-clotting. Subsequently, the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccination was temporarily stopped in the Netherlands and Ireland.
As the coronavirus vaccination is yet to be commenced in countries such as Indonesia, these countries have announced the postponing the commencement of coronavirus vaccination as a reflection of the above-mentioned developments and complaints in European countries and their temporary withdrawal of the vaccination process.
Given the above situation, GCL has come forward to confirm that there are no blood-clot issues after administering the coronavirus vaccination and there is NO SCIENTIFIC PROOF for this.
