Maruti Dzire Tops India’s Best-Selling Cars in July 2026

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire emerged as India’s best-selling passenger vehicle in July 2026, with 23,791 units sold, according to industry sales data. The Dzire was followed closely by the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which recorded 23,338 units.

Maruti Suzuki dominated the July rankings, securing six positions in the top 10. The company’s Ertiga ranked third with 21,606 units, while the Swift took fourth place with 21,538 units.

Top 10 Best-Selling Cars in July 2026

The Tata Punch/Punch EV secured fifth place with 21,313 units, recording the strongest year-on-year growth among the top 10 at 97.62%. The Fronx and Baleno occupied sixth and seventh positions, respectively.

The Hyundai Creta/Creta Electric ranked eighth with 18,088 units, followed by the Tata Nexon/Nexon EV at 17,471 units. The Mahindra Scorpio range completed the top 10 with 16,009 units.

Overall, the top 10 models recorded 2,00,868 units in July 2026, compared with 1,46,029 units in July 2025, representing a 37.55% increase.

The figures indicate strong demand across hatchbacks, sedans, MPVs and SUVs, while Maruti Suzuki continued to maintain a strong presence across multiple vehicle segments.
