Tiruchendur Murugan Temple Bans Mobile Phones from July 2

The administration of Tiruchendur Murugan Temple has announced that mobile phones will not be allowed inside the temple from July 2, 2026. The decision has been taken to ensure a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere for devotees.

According to the temple administration, all devotees will undergo security checks before entering the temple. Mobile phone deposit counters have been set up at multiple locations within the temple premises for visitors` convenience.

Devotees have been advised to cooperate with temple authorities and follow the new guidelines. Officials also warned that any mobile phones carried inside the temple in violation of the rule may be confiscated.
