TNEA 2026 Registration Update: 89,629 Students Apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering Counselling

The TNEA 2026 registration process has witnessed a huge response from students across Tamil Nadu. According to the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), around 89,629 students have completed the online registration process for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2026 under government quota seats.

Officials stated that the highest number of applications was recorded on May 8, with 20,346 students registering in a single day. On May 9, another 18,066 applications were submitted, showing increasing demand for engineering admissions in Tamil Nadu.
