OpenAI Announces 1-Year Free ChatGPT Go Access for Indian Users

OpenAI has announced that ChatGPT Go will be free for all Indian users for one year starting November 4. The move comes ahead of the company’s first DevDay Exchange event in Bengaluru.
The offer aims to expand access to advanced AI tools powered by GPT-5, as India has become ChatGPT’s second-largest market.
OpenAI said the initiative aligns with its ‘India-first’ strategy and supports the IndiaAI Mission to promote AI education and innovation across the country.
Existing ChatGPT Go subscribers will also receive the 12-month free extension.
