No General Counselling for medical courses this year in TN!!

For those medical aspirants in Tamil Nadu , here comes an important piece of news!!
Mr.M. Subramanian, health minister for TN has informed that for this year there would not be general counselling for the medical courses. He added that steps would be taken to prevent it from the coming year.
Yesterday, 12th June 2023, Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai was busy with activities as 187th Convocation function of MMC took place. The health minister made his presence felt at this important function and distributed degrees and appreciation certificates etc for 248 medical students.
The award for the best student Johnson Medal was bagged by Dr. Veerasivabalan for securing top marks in all the subjects. Medico Jhanavi also bagged many awards yesterday.
Others who participated at this convocation function were Chennai Mayor R. Priya, dme Ira. Shanthimalar, Principal of MMC Dr. Theranirajan plus other professors, students and parents etc.
The health minister later spoke about how out of 176 medical colleges in India that have been selected through ranking MMC in Chennai is ranked 11th. Point is that with regard to the TN based medical colleges, MMC stands first.
