With the summer vacation concluded, schools have reopened today (Monday, 12th June) for students studying in the 6th to 12th standards.

The schools are organizing a grand welcome to resume studies!

The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu had earlier planned to reopen schools from 1st June to conduct classes for students from 1st to 12th standard. However, due to the intense and relentless heat, the reopening of schools after the summer vacation was postponed.

Accordingly, it was decided to reopen schools on 12th June for students from 6th to 12th standard, and on 14th June for students from 1st to 5th standard. This decision was announced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu.

As a result, today (Monday, 12th June), schools are reopening for students from 6th to 12th standard. All the necessary preparations for this reopening have been completed, and all schools are ready.

Textbooks, notebooks, and uniforms are being provided.

Arrangements have been made in all schools to give students a warm welcome.

Furthermore, arrangements have been made to distribute free textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, and other welfare items.

On the occasion of "World Child Labour Prevention Day," which is today (Monday, 12th June), all students, teachers, and staff are required to take an oath in schools at 11:00 AM.

Several guidelines have been issued to all school principals to raise awareness among students and the public about Child Labour Prevention Day.

It is important to note that all schools have decided to function on all Saturdays to compensate for the delayed reopening.
