Now, this decision taken on conducting class 12 board examinations in TN

There is some clarity available regarding the board examinations for the class 12 students in TN!!
On Friday, 28th May 2021, the school education minister of TN, Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi spoke about how the class12 board exams would be held offline in the usual 3 hour pattern.
This has come at a time when there were speculations that the board exams might be conducted online due to the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in TN.
The school education minister made it clear that the examination schedule would be released only after the health department reports decline in the Coronavirus cases. The minister was busy in Trichy yesterday and he shared his views after inspecting a mass vaccination drive that was carried out at various places by the Trichy district administration. Health is also very important for the students just like their education or students future. Point is that an appropriate call would be taken on conducting board exams only when the health department registers a decline in the number of Coronavirus positive cases.
The minister was also asked to share his views about streamlining online education (after the recent incident that took place during online class session). He pointed out that a committee has been formed to frame guidelines.
