Tirupati - Katpadi MEMU Trains Cancelled for 8 Days from June 19 Due to Maintenance Work

The South Central Railway has announced the cancellation of MEMU passenger trains between Tirupati and Katpadi for eight days starting June 19 due to track and engineering maintenance works. The affected dates are June 19, 22, 26, 29 and July 3, 6, 10, and 13, 2026.

On these dates, MEMU trains departing Tirupati at 6:40 AM and 10:35 AM for Katpadi, as well as services leaving Katpadi at 5:15 PM and 7:25 PM for Tirupati, will remain fully cancelled.

In addition, the Villupuram–Tirupati Express (Train No. 16854) will be partially cancelled and will terminate at Katpadi instead of Tirupati. Similarly, the Tirupati–Villupuram Express (Train No. 16853) will originate from Katpadi at 1:30 PM instead of Tirupati on the affected dates.

Passengers are advised to check train schedules in advance and make alternate travel arrangements to avoid inconvenience.
