Heavy Rain Likely in Tirupathur, Vellore and Tiruvannamalai Today: Weather Department

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has forecast heavy rainfall in Tirupathur, Vellore, and Tiruvannamalai districts today due to prevailing weather conditions across Tamil Nadu. Residents in these districts have been advised to stay alert and follow weather updates issued by local authorities.

The weather department has also predicted heavy rain in Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, and Mayiladuthurai districts tomorrow. Several parts of the state are expected to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate to heavy showers over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Authorities have urged the public to take necessary precautions, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas, as rainfall activity is likely to intensify in some regions.
