Chennai Train Delay Today: Arakkonam Track Work Delays Express and EMU Services

Passengers travelling to Chennai Central via Arakkonam and Tiruvallur are experiencing delays as emergency track maintenance and signal testing continue in the Arakkonam railway section. Several express trains from Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Tirupati are running 1.5 to 2 hours behind schedule, while Chennai suburban EMU trains are delayed by around 30 minutes.

Although no train cancellations have been announced today, the ongoing railway infrastructure work has disrupted normal operations, affecting thousands of office commuters, students, and daily passengers on the Arakkonam - Tiruvallur - Chennai route.
