In TN, the ranking list for Siddha, Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathy courses released now!!
The ranking list for Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy courses has been released by the TN health minister Mr. M. Subramanian.
It must be noted that under the Dept of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy, Sidha medical college and Unani medical college have been functioning on the premises of Arignar Anna Government Indian Hospital in Arumbakkam. There is Sidha medical college in Palayamkottai in Tirunelveli district, Homeopathy medical college in Thirumangalam in Madurai district and Ayurvedic medical college in Kottar near Nagercoil in Kanniyakumari district in TN;.
Forty eight seats out of a total of three twenty seats in these 5 medical colleges are reserved for All India quota. For the TN state government, the remaining 272 seats have been reserved.
There are 1920 seats in 29 medical colleges and 15% of those are allotted for All India quota. Point is remaining 65% seats are for the state government and 35% for the administrative quota. The TN govt has been conducting counselling for the government quota seats.
On 24th July, application process for above said courses began online and it was completed on 24th August 2025. It must be noted that NEET qualified students have applied for these courses. Now, the rank list of eligible candidates have been released by the health minister of TN at Kalaignar Centenary High Speciality Hospital at Guindy in Chennai.
On the health department website, the rank list has been uploaded now. For the govt quota seats, 4371 candidates have been listed. Kanniyakumar based T.S. Pragadhi who secured 520 out of 720 marks have been ranked first. There are 1430 students in the All India quota and 1860 in management quota for private colleges. As many as 97 seats are allotted for govt school students under the 7.5% reservation quota.
