Superb Idea!! Cartoon characters involved in creating awareness about road safety in Chennai!

Chennai and its traffic are closely connected!!
For instilling road safety and to make the motorists to follow stop line rule at the junctions in Chennai, the GCTP or Greater Chennai Traffic Police have organised an awareness campaign on Monday, 12th june 2023.
It is sensational to note that police officers and models dressed as cartoon characters were present on the roads in the city yesterday to create awareness about the road safety. This grabbed the attention of many. Stop lines at several junctions in Chennai have been painted fresh by GCTP.
According to Mr. P. Saravanan, DCP Traffic north Chennai, GCC has been trying its best to reduce road accidents plus regulating the traffic effectively. He added that GCC has been coming up with many ideas for this.
It is important to note that this awareness programme was done mainly to enlighten the road users who commute by vehicles especially 2wheelers while they stop at the red signal. The public address system or PAS present at the traffic junctions would warn the violators about their transgression.
By recording the stop line violations through videos and photographs, cases were registered against those owners of the two wheelers.
