Chennai Gold Rate Today July 29, 2026: 22K Gold Price Falls ₹60 to ₹13,155

Gold prices in Chennai declined on July 29, 2026, continuing their downward trend for the second consecutive day, according to the latest morning rates from the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA).

The price of 22-carat gold fell by ₹60 per gram to ₹13,155, compared with ₹13,215 per gram on July 28.

Similarly, 18-carat gold dropped by ₹60 per gram to ₹10,970, down from ₹11,030 per gram the previous day.

Meanwhile, silver remained unchanged at ₹235 per gram, maintaining the same rate recorded on July 28.

22K Gold – 1 Gram: ₹13,155 (↓ ₹60)
18K Gold – 1 Gram: ₹10,970 (↓ ₹60)
Silver – 1 Gram: ₹235 (No Change)

Gold prices have now declined for two consecutive days. On July 28, 22K gold fell by ₹155 per gram to ₹13,215, while 18K gold declined by ₹155 to ₹11,030 per gram. Silver also dropped by ₹5 to ₹235 per gram on July 28.
