Tamil Nadu CM Vijay to Visit Sriperumbudur-Oragadam Industrial Corridor on Today

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay will visit several major industrial establishments in the Sriperumbudur-Oragadam manufacturing corridor on Monday, August 3, as part of the Tamil Nadu government`s continued efforts to promote industrial growth, strengthen infrastructure, and attract new investments.

According to the official itinerary, the Chief Minister will begin his visit at Saint-Gobain India Private Limited`s World Glass Complex in Irungattukottai, one of the company`s largest and most advanced manufacturing facilities in India.

He will then visit the SIPCOT Project Office at Mambakkam near Sriperumbudur, where he is expected to review ongoing infrastructure development and industrial expansion projects aimed at supporting the region`s growing manufacturing ecosystem.

Later in the day, Chief Minister Vijay will tour the Daimler Buses India manufacturing facility at Oragadam. He is also scheduled to visit the Nissan automobile manufacturing plant near Sriperumbudur, one of Tamil Nadu`s key automobile production hubs.

Sriperumbudur-Oragadam: Tamil Nadu`s Industrial Powerhouse

The Sriperumbudur-Oragadam industrial corridor is one of Tamil Nadu`s largest manufacturing hubs, home to several multinational companies operating in the automobile, engineering, electronics, glass, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
