HR&CE Department Invites Applications for Free Rameswaram–Kashi (Varanasi) Spiritual Journey

The Hindu Religious and Endowments (HR&CE) Department has announced that devotees between the ages of 60 and 70 will be taken free of cost on spiritual tours to various temples. Under this initiative, devotees are taken to Amman temples during the month of Aadi, Vaishnava temples in Purattasi, the Arupadai Veedu shrines, and from Rameswaram to Kashi.

This year, 600 devotees will be taken on a special spiritual journey from the *Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple* with a government grant of ₹1.5 crore.

Applications are being invited from the 20 Joint Commissionerate Mandals of the HR&CE Department to select 600 devotees (30 per mandal). Applicants must:

- Be Hindus with faith

- Be aged between 60 and 70 years

- Have an annual income not exceeding ₹2 lakh (income certificate from the Taluk Officer required)

- Submit a copy of Aadhaar and a medical fitness certificate

Application forms can be obtained in person from the respective Zonal Joint Commissioner offices or downloaded from the official HR&CE website http://www.hrce.tn.gov.in The completed forms, along with necessary certificates, must be submitted to the concerned Zonal Joint Commissioner’s office on or before the 22nd of next month.
