Tamil Nadu Weather Alert: Orange Alert Issued for 3 Days, Heavy Rain Likely in Multiple Districts

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has issued an Orange Alert for Tamil Nadu for the next three days, warning of heavy rainfall in several districts across the state.

According to the weather department, heavy rain is likely tomorrow in districts including Theni, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Dindigul, Tiruppur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Sivaganga, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, and Mayiladuthurai.

Meteorologists have advised residents in the affected districts to remain alert and follow weather updates, as localized flooding and waterlogging may occur in low-lying areas due to intense rainfall.

The Orange Alert indicates the possibility of significant weather conditions and calls for preparedness among district administrations and the public.
