Tamil Nadu introduced STAR 3.0 Sprint 1, bringing 18 digital services to make property and civil registrations faster, paperless, and more transparent.
The system allows online, contactless registration with Aadhaar-based verification, instant digital signatures, and same-day document delivery. It also features presenceless registration, enabling property transactions to be completed fully online without visiting offices.
Users can access services like auto deed generation, QR-based UPI payments, and improved encumbrance searches through the TNREGINET app and WhatsApp.
This initiative builds on the state’s early digitisation efforts to improve efficiency and reduce delays in public services.
