Water Supply Suspension in Chennai Zones for Maintenance Work!
Maintenance work at the Nemmeli seawater desalination plant will halt water supply to Adyar, Perungudi, and Sholinganallur zones tomorrow, April 30.
The Chennai Drinking Water Board announced the suspension of water supply via pipes from 9 am tomorrow until 9 am on May 1. Affected areas include Thiruvanmiyur, Pallipattu Kottur Gardens in Adyar, R.K. Madam Street, Indira Nagar Upper Reservoir Tank, Kottivakkam, Palavakkam, Perungudi, Pallikaranai, Madipakkam, Puzhuthivakkam in Perungudi, Injambakkam, Neelankarai in Sholinganallur, Akkarai, Ezhil Nagar, Kannagi Nagar, Karapakkam, Vettuvankeni, Sholinganallur, Semmancheri, and Okkiyam-Thuraipakkam.
Residents are advised to store sufficient drinking water. Emergency potable water can be requested through the board`s website (https://cmwssb.tn.gov.in/). Drinking water tankers will continue to serve areas without connections or experiencing low pressure. For more information, contact 044-4567 4567.
