Tamil Nadu Elections 2026: PM Modi Holds Campaign Rally in Coimbatore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to campaign in Coimbatore today in support of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Coimbatore from Delhi by a special flight and is scheduled to address a massive public rally at the CODISSIA Ground around 5:30 PM.
Modi has been actively focusing on Tamil Nadu in recent weeks, making multiple visits to the state. Earlier, he concluded a campaign in Puducherry and later held key meetings with BJP leaders in Chennai. He also participated in a grand roadshow in Nagercoil on April 15.
Today’s rally in Coimbatore is expected to strengthen the NDA’s campaign in the Kongu region, which is considered a stronghold for the BJP.
With campaigning set to conclude on April 21, several senior BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states, are expected to campaign in Tamil Nadu in the coming days.
