Ambattur Government ITI for Women Extends Direct Admission Deadline to July 31

The Ambattur Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) for Women has extended the deadline for direct admissions for the current academic year until July 31, according to Chennai District Collector S. Kavitha.

The extension has been announced to fill the remaining seats across various vocational training programmes offered by the institute. Eligible candidates are encouraged to complete their admissions before the revised deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have passed or failed Class 8, Class 10, or Class 12 are eligible to apply for various ITI courses. There is no upper age limit for admission, making the programmes accessible to candidates of all age groups.

Courses Offered

Candidates who have passed Class 8 are eligible to apply for the Tailoring Technology one-year course.

Candidates who have passed Class 10 can apply for one-year courses such as:

- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
- Cosmetology
- Stenography (Tamil & English)

The Architectural Draughtsmanship programme is a two-year course requiring a pass in Class 10.
