An indigenously built aircraft carrier ship INS Vikrant is making amazing news now!!
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, INS Vikrant arrived at anchorage in Chennai. This was its maiden visit to Chennai. This has grabbed many eyeballs now. Information collected is that INS Vikrant was in Chennai after taking part in MILAN-24 which is a multilateral naval exercise in Visakhapatnam. On Friday night INS Vikrant left Chennai.
On 2nd of September 2022, INS Vikrant constructed by Cochin Shipyard was commissioned into the Indian Navy. This ship has a displacement of 42800 tonnes and is 262.5m in length and it is commanded by Captain Mr. Birendra S. Bains.
