In a recent press conference, Balachandran, the director of the Southern Meteorological Center, revealed that five districts - Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Chennai, and Villupuram - are anticipated to experience significant rainfall on December 2 and 3. Balachandran, during an interview with reporters, explained that a deep depression is expected to form by November 30, likely intensifying into a storm with potential wind gusts reaching up to 70 kmph over the Southwest Bay of Bengal.
