Tamil Nadu Weather Update: Rain Likely in Chennai and 7 Districts Today, 12 Districts on June 26

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has forecast light to moderate rainfall in Chennai and several districts of Tamil Nadu over the next two days.

According to the latest weather bulletin, rain is likely today (June 25) in the following seven districts:

- Chennai

- Chengalpattu

- Tiruvallur

- Kanchipuram

- Villupuram

- Cuddalore

- Mayiladuthurai

The RMC has also forecast rainfall in 12 districts on Thursday (June 26). These districts are:-

- Chennai

- Chengalpattu

- Kanchipuram

- Tiruvallur

- Mayiladuthurai

- Tiruvannamalai

- Vellore

- Ranipet

- Tirupattur

- Kallakurichi

- Along with two other districts mentioned in the latest weather bulletin.

The rainfall is expected due to favourable atmospheric conditions prevailing over Tamil Nadu. Residents in the affected districts are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and take necessary precautions while travelling, especially in areas that are prone to waterlogging.
