The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has forecast rainfall across parts of Tamil Nadu on July 28 and July 29, with the Western Ghats districts expected to receive moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.

Light rain accompanied by thunderstorms is also expected in isolated areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
